Problem. Small-batch food vendors price by gut feel and lose money; they need real unit economics without a spreadsheet.
What I built. Part of a Next.js + Clerk vendor toolkit (deployed separately on Vercel). The showcase is a fully client-side cost calculator: a 5-SKU COGS builder, margin analysis by channel, a 12-month cash-flow forecast, labor costing, and red-team sensitivity sliders — every figure a live formula, nothing hardcoded — that exports a branded PDF (jsPDF). Works offline.
Why it matters. A genuinely useful business tool with real calculation logic and professional export, built to run with zero backend. Shows I ship customer-facing tools that work anywhere and produce a deliverable.
This is from the coolcook.ing vendor toolkit. The calculator is fully client-side, no server, every number is a live formula across COGS, margins, a twelve-month cash-flow forecast, and labor, with red-team sliders to stress worst cases. Then it exports a branded PDF the vendor can actually hand to a partner. I like showing it because it proves I can ship something genuinely useful that runs offline and produces a real deliverable, not just a screen.
