Problem. Income and spending across personal, landlord, and consulting streams needed categorization and reconciliation in one view.
What I built. A finance dashboard in vanilla JS: KPI cards (net, borrowed, card balance), category-colored transaction tables with collapsible parent/child rows, reconciliation, and allocation-split logic for re-routing spend.
Why it matters. Real domain logic and complex nested-table interactions — evidence I can model and present operational data cleanly, a transferable skill for customer-facing data work.
This tracks income and spending across three streams, personal, landlord, and consulting, with categorization, reconciliation, and allocation splits for re-routing money. The interesting UI bit is the nested collapsible category tables with live KPIs on top. I show it as evidence I can model real operational data and present it cleanly, which is the same muscle as building a customer-facing data view, just pointed at my own books.
